FAQs
How do the systems talk to each other?
That’s the great part of the Campttendance system. One system, three different audiences to interact with the same data. By building the entire system at once, when one audience makes a change, the data get updated for the other audiences. It’s quick. It’s seamless. Everyone is in the know, reducing mistakes and delays.
Can this connect to my registration or billing software?
We believe that data should belong to you, the customer. Which is why we’ve created an API so your other software can connect to Campttendance with ease. If your current software doesn’t utilize APIs yet, no problem. You can export data from your registration software in a CSV file, and import your data into Campttendance.
Is the system hard to learn?
The system is super intuitive for parents, staff and admins to learn. With a very basic video showing the app, our parents started using it quickly. For admins, they had their own intro video that gave them a tour of the app, and staff didn’t need any training! Having grown up with technology, staff members could login and go!
How do we get families to use it?
That’s the wonderful part of creating a great product, please use it! During our beta testing of Campttendance, 79% of families used the software to make at least one change during the summer. Now that we’ve added a SmugMug integration with facial recognition, we know that number will only increase!
what happens if we have multiple programs each day?
Campttendance was designed for transportation, in addition to manging camper movement throughout the day. If you have multiple programs that kids move between, or individualized camper scheduling, administrators can see when campers get checked in to their next activity or you’ll get an alert on the dashboard!
But our camp is tech free!
We get it! We want camp to be tech free too. That’s why we’ve designed the software to make these time consuming tasks easier so the tech can be put away. Campttendance can be used on tablets or phones, so your staff can take attendance and then get back to the kids.
Do we have to have cellular or wifi connectivity?
To get the most out of the Campttendance platform, a wifi or cellular connnection is important. While we do have reports for you to manually take attendance, you won’t realize all the benefits and time savings without a wifi or cellular connection.
What kinds of devices work?
In an effort to avoid distractions, we encourage businesses to invest in small tablets or phones for your staff members to use for Campttendance. While they can certainly use their cell phones, that does open the door to distractions that tech free programs like to avoid.
